from Cheryl (thanks Cheryl) "he came, he saw, he kicked
ass!" FIRST weekend in the US show rings, and he became a NEW
AM. CH., undefeated from the classes with 4, 4
point majors going BOW 3 out of the 4 days!!!
Koda is
among the elite group of dogs that have attained their US

(Ch.
Celticfrost Ranger N' West Free) headed
up from Wisconsin with his owners Pat & Frank Kreif for the
local Lakehead Kennel Club shows. First weekend in the
Canadian rings, he became a NEW CAN. CH. with all of
his points accumulated through Group placements; defeating multi BIS
winners in the process!!!
Also
a very proud weekend for us seeing Ranger
become the 5th Tucker/Irish
kid to attain his Can. Ch.
qualifying his momma Irish
for her Register Of Merit Canada (ROMC).

(Can. Ch. Celticfrost's Holiday Girl) kicked off the first day of
showing at the GMSF specialty by going Best In Sweeps under
breeder/judge Carol Montgomery. Litter brother Ranger
(Ch. Celticfrost Ranger N WestFree) then went on to take WD
for a HUGE 5 point major and became a NEW CHAMPION
& litter brother Elvis
(Can. Ch. Celticfrost All Shook UP) was the runner up taking RWD
and also 1st place in his Puppy Sweeps class. Not
wanting to be out done by her brothers, Miss Ryder
wins WB for her own HUGE 5 point major and then on
to take BOW, all under breeder/judge Hazel Fitzgibbon from
England. The next day at the SAMI's specialty (we weren't
entered for Sweeps) Ryder
takes RWB to the major and Ranger

(Ch. Celticfrost's Holiday Girl) takes BOB to finish as
well! Ryder had not been in the Canadian rings since last June
at the Nationals!

last two Tucker x Irish kids to finish their Can. Ch. were also a
brother & sister team finishing on the same show weekend as
well ......... what a thrill!

OF AMERICA NATIONALS and started the
first day after a loooooooooong 20 hour drive with a whole
lot of FUN! A group of us went ZORBING before
the actual "conformation" events started and had a blast.
Great way to release some tension and enjoy a whole lot of laughs
with friends!

on the first day to become a new Canadian Champion and then
...... went on the win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. Elvis
(Celticfrost All Shook Up) wins WD on Friday, BOB, BOW,
Puppy Group and a Group 4th on Saturday and does a repeat
of the day before on Sunday to also become a new Canadian
Champion! Then ...... he went on to win his own BEST
PUPPY IN SHOW ...... an exciting way for these two
littermates to finish in the same weekend!

to Neeva's owners Lorraine, Gary
& Mark Person and to Elvis's
owners Cathy & Denis Mascarin. Thank you for the

ON - We travelled to the SAMOYED
ASSOCIATION OF CANADA NATIONAL, Samoyed Club Of Ontario &
the Erie Shores Kennel Club all breed shows and had an AMAZING few
days. Tucker wins the
Nationals for Best In Specialty #9 under
breeder & judge John Ronald. The following day at the SCO
Regional Specialty, he wins Specialty #10 by going BOB
under judge Ron Mahon. Tucker
was also entered at just 2 of the all breed shows and won BOB
both days, as well as a Group 2nd & Group 1st in
the Working Group.

debut this weekend and left us in AWE! At the SAMOYED
ASSOCIATION OF CANADA NATIONALS she started the day off by
winning Best Puppy In Sweeps and then on to take Winners
Bitch, at which point Lesley got to handle her to Best Of
Winners & Best Puppy In Specialty for a HUGE 5 point
major ...... what a PROUD & THRILLING moment for both of
us to be in the ring at the very end with Ryder standing alongside
her Daddy!! And the next day ...... she wins WB, BPIS &
the only AOM handed out at the Samoyed Club Of Ontario
Regional Specialty.

Irish went WB, BOW & BOS for her first
Canadian points. Tucker sat the day out on Saturday &
Sunday while Irish strutted her
stuff in the group ring taking a Group 4th on Saturday
and then on to a HUGE 5 point major win on Sunday by winning
her own Group 1st, defeating 2 multi BIS winning bitches and
top ranked working dogs! Handled proudly by Joe to 9
points in total ........ only 1 more to go!!!! Not to
shabby for her first weekend out!

breeder/judge Celinda Cheskawich. No other Canadian Samoyed
has ever won back-to-back US Specialty shows in the history of the
breed. Despite the torrential down pours on Thursday, Tucker
showed his heart out for Joe and it truly was a THRILL to watch!

at the Specialty on Friday to finish Nitro
(Am. Ch. Elfenbein Jump Start) with a 4 point major
and handled beautifully by his mom, Jill. Dancer
(Am. Ch. Elfenbein Sun Dancer) also won back-to-back AOM's at
the specialties and BOB on Saturday & Sunday at the
All Breed shows.

second day at the Argus Kennel Club show Tucker

a Group 1st
under Larry Kereluke and then on to win his 4th BEST
IN SHOW under judge Elaine Whitney.
At the afternoon show, he won a Group 2nd under judge
Alan Brown and the following day wins a Group 4th and Group
2nd under judge Thora Brown.

the first time in almost 9 years in VETERAN sweeps, taking first
in his 10 - 12 class. Taygus turned 12 years old in
February this year and was the oldest vet entered at the NOWDA
specialty Veteran Sweeps.
