BIS BISS Am. Can. Ch. Celticfrost All Tuckered Out

TUCKER (named after Darcy Tucker of the Toronto Maple Leafs - Dad's a BIG fan) is a stunning boy with loads of personality and a promising future ahead of him.  A stand out from very early on, he possessed many of the attributes we were hoping for with this linebreeding combination on some of the top producing/top-winning dogs in the breed; beautiful breed type and head detail, correct just off square outline, powerful and sound movement, a real "show man" with a desire to do what is asked of him and do it WELL.  Did we expect BIG things for this baby boy at his first show ... oh yes, BUT just how BIG .............. 

We traveled to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin for the back-to-back specialties on the February 4 & 5th weekend for Tucker's first American show and the largest Region Specialty in the US.  At 6 months, 1 day old he took to the ring with such presence and enthusiasm, he was a force to be reckoned with .... taking 1st in the 6-9 month class (youngest out of 7 entries) both days and RWD to the 5 point major (34 entries) on Saturday under judge Jerry Watson .... along with some very nice comments from fellow exhibitors and judges.

Back home the following weekend ..... we held our breath and waited to see how his 1st Canadian show would play out and our baby boy left us speechless .....

Friday, under judge Skip Stanbridge, Tucker wins BB, a Group 2nd and Puppy Group then went on to win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW giving him 4 points toward his championship.  On Saturday he does one better and wins BB, a Group 1st & Puppy Group under judge Leslie Rodgers for 5 points and Sunday he gives a repeat performance by taking BB, a Group 1st, Puppy Group and another BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under judge Martin Doherty for another 5 points ...... all at 6 months, 1 week of age to become an undefeated CANADIAN CHAMPION!

Tucker's 2nd weekend out as a Special at 9 months of age was at the Northwestern Ontario Working Dog Association Specialty show where he won Best Puppy in Specialty and a Group 3rd under Doberman judge Lalah Cassleman.  At the all breed show that weekend he won Breed and Puppy Group all 3 days, a Group 1st and 2 Group 2nds .... followed by 2 more BEST PUPPY IN SHOW wins under judges Marilyn Mincey and RG McMurray!!!

The following weekend we traveled to Minnesota for the Samoyed Association of Minneapolis-St. Paul Specialities where Tucker won Best Puppy In Sweeps (19 entered) under breeder/judge Wanda Krauss and on the way home we stopped in Grand Marais for some "fun time" on the lake shore.

   Our heartfelt thanks to Jennifer & Kyle Pearson (Tucker's parents) who came looking for a pet/child for their growing family, were open to the idea of having a show dog, had a willingness to work with us and jumped into the "dog show arena" head first.  Tucker is a truly amazing boy with a rock solid temperament to go with that beautiful body ..... that is because you have given him the opportunity to be exactly who & what he was meant to be simply by loving him .... we couldn't have asked for more!
